Robert Olin Bruce, lovingly known as "Bob," passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023. He was 89 years old.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Lewis officiating.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Bob entered this life on December 4, 1933, in Denver, Colorado to the late Ernest Olin Bruce and Alice Andrus Bruce. He attended New Mexico A & M, served in the United States Marine Corps, as well as the Korean Conflict between 1953-1956. Bob and his ancestors defended this land before the Revolution through the present day. Bob was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church and the Marv Buchholtz Life Group. He was employed by Jenkins and Wynne for over 38 years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Olin Bruce, and grandparents, Charles Olin Bruce, Jennie Blackburn Bruce, Frank Andrus, and Lottie Andrus.

Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Betty Joyce Bruce. They married on September 22, 1956. He leaves behind their children, Robert Kent Bruce, and wife, Michelle, Alice Lynn Bruce Logue, and husband, David, Betty Jo Bruce Phillips, and husband, Charles Phillips, Barbara Carol Bruce Ballard, and husband Michael Ballard, Jennifer Leigh Bruce-Silvers, and husband, Robert Silvers; grandchildren, Amber Phillips, Colin Logue, Stefan Logue, Seth Logue, Elizabeth Bruce Nichols, Robert E. Bruce, Christopher Ballard, J.J. Bruce, Ariel McVoy; great-grandchildren, Dawson McVoy, Hudson McVoy, Collin Ballard, Lance Ballard, Emilia Ballard, Mason Ballard, Robert B. Bruce, and Harley Bond.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers
