The daughter of Edna Bell (Burgess) and Frank J. Chambers, Pat was born on August 7, 1933, in Wilson, Oklahoma. Pat grew up in the Wilson area, attended and graduated from Wilson Public Schools. After graduating from high school, Pat married her lifelong sweetheart, Doyle Leonard Burks on November 1, 1951 and together shared 66 years. This union of marriage was blessed with two children, Danny and Diana. In addition to being a loving wife, devoted mother and doting grandmother, Pat also worked as a receptionist and switchboard operator for Fred Jones Automotive Manufacturing Company for many years. When Pat wasn't working, she enjoyed gardening, water skiing, photography, quilting, and was known for her love of the outdoors. Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids. A longtime member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene, Pat was an active member of the Cornerstone Sunday School Class. Pat loved the Lord, her family and others. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, doting grandmother and faithful friend who will be deeply missed each day.
