Arthur "Art" Frederick White
March 11, 1922 – October 20, 2023
Passed peacefully away at Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion with his daughter by his side. Arthur Frederick White age, WW II Veteran, 101 years.
Predeceased by his parents Walter and Edith (nee Knight) White; brother Ronald White; sisters: Margaret Brittain, Ann Puddister, Jean Scott and Barbara Lilly and other members of the White and Adam's family.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories his wife of 65 years "His dearly beloved" Daphne (nee Adams); son Ronald; daughter Pamela O'Neill (Kenneth); devoted granddaughter Kendra O'Neill (Timothy Andrews); sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Adams and Margaret Rodgers as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Art will be remembered and missed for his charm, wit, his love of a good meal and his infectious smile.
Special thanks to the staff of VP2 of the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion for the exceptional care and their friendship to Art during his stay with them.
In Lieu of flowers donations in Art's memory can be made to the Jimmy Pratt Memorial Outreach Program or to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.
Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home 328, Hamilton Avenue on Monday, October 23rd from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday, October 24th at 12 pm from George Street United Church. Interment will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Field of Honour.
