A memorial service for Agnes "Aggie" J. Lorang of Bellingham will be at 2 pm today in the resident lounge at Mount Baker Care Center. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home in Seattle. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park. Mrs. Lorang died Thrusday, Feb 24, 2000 in Bellingham. she was 86.

Orphaned at an early age, she was raised and educated at Mooseheart, an orphanage and school operated by the Loyal Order of Moose near Chicago, Ill.

After graduating from high school, she moved to the Northwest and worked in various secretarial positions.

Mrs. Lorang married Fredric P. Lorang.

While her children were growing up, she was active in Seattle's Our Lady of Fatima Parish, O'Dea High School Seafair parades and Veterans of Foreign Wars Eagles on Post No. 1416. Mrs. Lorang later returned to work as a secretary for the English and theology departments at Seattle University.

She was preceded in death by her husband, sister Nellie A. Jones and brother Edward N. Jones. Survivors include sons Patrick A. Lorang of Bellingham and James E. Lorang of Seattle; one grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
