Soon after getting married they moved to Compton and opened Dicks Sporting Goods in Lynwood. After their two sons, Ray and Paul, were born, they moved to Cole Street in Downey, where Stella lived for 47 years.
They then started Armas Plastering, Sandblast, and Restucco. She worked in the office and was also employed by Hughes Aircraft. She was a parishioner at St. Raymond's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Ray (Gaylen) and Paul (Barbara); three grandchildren, Kyle, Alicia, and James; and five great-grandchildren, Michael, Alyssa, Evan, Brooke, and Aidan.
