Lee was born in Soledad, CA and later moved to San Francisco where she attended Galileo High School. It was while working at Poultry Producers she met, fell in love with and married Al Abballo, and they spent the next 72 years together. Lee and Al moved to Fairfax in 1957 where they raised their three daughters. Lee was Nonni to her six grandchildren and recently welcomed her eighth great-grandchild. Lee was known as an accomplished seamstress and an avid reader. Lee was an active member of St. Rita's Parish and was involved with the Women's Guild for many years. Lee worked in Marin General's HR Department for 10 years until retiring in 1992. During retirement she and Al traveled to Europe, Japan, Asia, Canada, and numerous destinations within the U.S. In addition to volunteering at St. Rita's school, Lee was a Pink Lady and volunteered at Sunny Hills Fairfax Auxiliary. Lee was a loving wife, mother, and Nonni, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
