Aged 29. Murder victim of Herbert Mullin. Mullin purchased several guns and decided to kill Jim Gianera, a high school friend. However, when Mullin went to Gianera's house he found that his friend had moved away. The house was now occupied by Kathy Francis, who gave him Gianera's new address. Mullin went to Gianer's new address, where he killed both Gianera and his wife. Mullin then went back to the Francis' house, where he shot and killed Kathleen and her two sons, David Hughes, aged 9 and Daemon Francis, aged 4. Her last name may not have legally been Francis, as Robert Clayton Francis was only her common-law husband.
