George W. Sloat, 99-year-old resident at 643 Sixth avenue south, died yesterday morning at 12:05 o'clock in a local hospital.
A retired retail grocer of Middleboro, Mass., Mr. Sloat came here 13 years ago. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth R. Sipe of this city and Mrs. H. D. Libby, Freeport, Me. and two sons, Walter A. Sloat, Providence, R. I. and Arthur Sloat, Woods Hole, Mass.
A funeral service will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Palms Memorial chapel. Dr. Paul Hortin will officiate.
