It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bill Barlow, a beloved husband, father, and friend to many. Bill peacefully entered eternal rest on October 3, 2023, at his home in Phoenixville, PA, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on June 29, 1944, in Phoenixville, PA, Bill was the son of the late Joel V. and Minnie (McCullough) Barlow.

Throughout his life, Bill dedicated himself to his family, community, and work. He spent many years at Control Data in Trooper before joining the VA Medical Center in Coatesville, where he made a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals.

Bill attended St. Ann's Catholic Church alongside his loving wife, Dixie (Hill) Barlow. They both found joy in volunteering their time to help others in need. Their shared devotion for each other was strong and they enjoyed spending as much time as possible together.

In his leisure time, Bill cherished moments spent with family, creating memories on vacations and having a passion for travel and exploring new destinations. Bill enjoyed bowling and the camaraderie that came with the sport. He took pride in his yard and garden, finding solace in working with nature. Walking was another activity that brought Bill much joy, allowing him to appreciate the beauty of the world around him. As a devoted fan, Bill cheered on his beloved Phillies and Eagles, and he couldn't resist the timeless music of Elvis Presley.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Dixie Barlow, and their daughter, Cynthia Barlow. He leaves behind his caring sister, Barbara Anthony, cherished nieces and nephews as well as best friend, Joseph Gianotti. He was preceded in death by his sister, Maryann Fogal.

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, a viewing will be held at the Devlin-Gatcha Funeral Home, located at 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am to honor Bill's life. Bill will be then laid to rest in St. Ann's Cemetery.
