Mrs. Nettie Morton, 37 years old,
died at the home of her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. John Pliler, east of
Baxter Springs. Mrs. Morton had
been ill for several months.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur
Morton, six daughters, Virgie, Ina
Mae, Magdalene, Ina Jean, Erma
and Wanda Mae Morton, and one
son, Chester Morton, at home; her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Pliler;
three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Lee,
Mrs. Lena Winter, and Miss Pearl
Pliler; seven brothers, George,
Fred, Roy, Everett, Arthur, Truman
and Thursman Pliler, all of
Baxter Springs.
Funeral services will be held at
2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at
the Twelfth Street stone mission.
The Rev. Lloyd Durham of Stella, Mo.,
will have charge of the services.
Burial will be in the Pliler plot at
the Baxter Springs cemetery.
