MRS. MARY E. SMILEY, 79, of 1474 Standridge, died Saturday at Methodist Hospital. J.O. Patterson Funeral Home has charge. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Marie Blocker of Houston, Texas; two sons, Monroe Blocker of Memphis and Joseph Blocker of Yazoo City, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Ludella Gilmore of Memphis, Mrs. Susie Tisdale and Mrs. Atha Nunn, both of Benton Harbor, Mich.; two brothers, David Langley and John Langley, both of Memphis, and 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
