Arthur Stover Buried Yesterday
Arthur Carson Stover, the eight-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Stover, who reside in the Bonetrail community about 30 miles north of here, died at the home of his parents last Sunday after about a weeks illness with appendicitis. Medical aid was at once sought but the case was so acute that it was out of the question to remove him to a hospital and an operation was performed at the home but this was too late as the appendix had already burst and the system poisoned to the extent that the frail body was unable to throw it off.
Deceased was born Dec. 21, 1916, and departed this life Jan. 27, 1924, and was eight years, one month and six days old when the final summons came.
He is survived by his parents, seven sisters and six brothers, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the family home yesterday and the remains laid to rest in Fairview cemetery, east of town.
The sympathy of the community goes out to the sorrowing ones in their bereavement.
