Lesley Wayne German, 51, of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Funeral services will be held today, October 29, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Springhill Full Gospel Church of God in Nauvoo. The Rev. Billy Key will officiate. Visitation will be at the church from noon until service time. He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Lesley B. German and Pearlie German. He is survived by his wife, Regina German; children, Leslie Adam German and his wife, Tristan, Christina Painter and her husband, Mike, and Brett Turner; brother, the Rev. Toni German and his wife, Lisa; sister, Tammy Roberson and her husband, Emory; brother, Shane Wilburn; five grandchildren, Jayce Collier, Leslie Aybel German, Rachell Patterson, Tayla Olivia Files and Bailey Fisher Turner; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and other dear friends.
