Mrs. Mary V. Geistwite, 69, died at her home, Millersburg, R.D. 1, on Sunday, after an illness of three days.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Cornelius and was born in Snyder County, February 23, 1885. Mrs. Geistwite was a member of Free Grace Brethren in Christ Church.
Surviving are her husband, John H. Geistwite, three sons, Lester H., Harrisburg; Theodore B., Millersburg, and Lloyd F. Geistwite, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Lester Paul, Millersburg, R.D. 1, and Mrs. Dorothy Greenfield, Garret, Ind.; two brothers, Frank Cornelius, of town, and John Cornelius, address unknown; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Gass, Pottsville; two step-sisters, Mrs. Charles Weaver, Loyalton, and Mrs. Mable Snyder, of Reading; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held from the Riegle Funeral Home, 512 Market street, Wednesday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Paul E. Fridinger officiating. Interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery.
