Perry Van Willingham, Sr., former resident of Swiftown, died at his home in Drew this morning after a short illness.
Services will be at 2.p.m. Tuesday at the West Drew Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Wiggins officiating. Burial will be in the Drew Cemetery with Williams and Lord Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Willingham, who was 73, was born in Clay County and had lived in Drew for 26 years.
He is survived by one son, Perry Van Willingham, Jr. of Greenville; Five daughters, Mrs. M. E. Morgan, Mrs. James Cobb, Mrs. Charles Gregory, all of Drew; Mrs. C. M. Parker of Marks; Mrs. F. C. McClellan, Rolling Fork; two brothers, J. J. Willingham of Drew and Olen Willingham, Yazoo City; three sisters, Mrs. W. B. Wilson, Drew; Mrs. Joe King, Minter City; Mrs. Robert Bennett, Indianola; 22 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
