A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Snow Creek Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
Loranza was born August 27, 1938, in Stokes County, to the late George Everette and Murphy Mabe Bennett. He was a farmer and a former employee of RJ Reynolds. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Earlie, Maynard, Javan, and Junior Bennett and his twin brother, Alexander; sisters, Mamie Joyce and Lucy Ann Bennett; and niece, Jewel Ann Smith.
Survivors include nephews: Ronald Joyce, Jerry Joyce, James Joyce, Donald Leroy Bennett, Lonnie Bennett, and Kenny Bennett; nieces: Debra Hall, Melissa Mabe, and Carolyn Calloway; sisters-in-law, Helen Bennett and Virginia Bennett.
The family will receive friends at the Mamie Bennett Joyce home, 1176 Hardie Mabe Rd., Danbury.
Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
