JoAnn Rose Moore Bullen Conley, 88, of Warrior, Alabama passed peacefully on September 22, 2023 at home with her husband Gerald Conley by her side.
JoAnn was born in Morrow, Ohio to Wiliam Ellsworth Moore, Sr. and Lormira Maxine Phillips Moore both deceased. Her first husband Darrell Bullen is deceased.
They had two sons, Michael (Sonya deceased) of Cardington, OH who has two children, Christina and Alex. Christopher resides in Florida. She was known for being an outstanding seamstress. She worked with her grandmother, Rose Moore in Wilmington, OH who owned a sewing shop. This later in life led to her being a Playboy Bunny Mother and fixing their attire. She ran a Bridal Shop in Columbus. Later, she became a truck driver and went over the road. She was a jack of all trades.
Her only sibling, William E. (Bill) Moore, Jr. (deceased) and his wife Regina, of Wilmington, Ohio had five children. Timothy (deceased), Cynthia (Dan) Bowman, Wilmington, OH, Thomas (Sheila) Moore, Chillicothe, Ohio, Anthony (Mindy) Moore, Oregonia, OH, and Kelli (Jan) Christensen, Blanchester, OH. 12 great-nieces and nephews and 9 great-great nieces and nephews. JoAnn graduated from Martinsville High School in 1952.
It was at an alumni that she rekindled her love for Gerald, her High School sweetheart. Gerald and JoAnn spent most of their life in Melbourne, Florida. They enjoyed boating and traveling together. She always enjoyed family and documenting history. JoAnn has been cremated per her wishes.
