Geraldine D. Miller, 82, of Tioga, WV, Formerly of Birch River, died August 6, 2005, in the Summersville Memorial Hospital, Summersville, WV, after a long illness. She was born Hay 20, 1923 in Clay County, the daughter of the late Carl F. and Nona Pearl (Hamrick) Bragg. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Miller, who died October 1, 1993; one son, Robert Miller; one brother, Earl Hamrick; and four sisters, Golda Adkins, Dorothy Smith, Verena Ramsey, and Ocie Parsons.
She is survived by her son, Daniel C. Miller, and his wife Linda, of Tioga, WV; one brother, Newton Bragg, of Clay, WV; and one sister, Katherine Wilson of Oberlin, Ohio. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Lesa Conrad and her husband Steve of Summersville, WV, and Richard Miller and his wife Jodi of Vermillion, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren, Dillon Miller, Seth Miller, Brandon Miller, and Sophia Conrad.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2005, at the Greene Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, with the Rev. Bobbie Harper officiating. Burial was in the Adkins Cemetery near Enoch, Clay County. Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton is in charge of the arrangements.
