In Loving Memory of a Life Well Lived

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Arnold (aka Dr. Bob), who peacefully left this world on September 30, 2023, at the age of 80. He passed away surrounded by his loving family, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness and generosity that inspired everyone who knew him.

Bob was born on October 18, 1942, in Watertown, South Dakota, where he served the community for 51 years as an orthodontist. He was a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering support for his family, friends, and neighbors. His warm smile and compassionate heart touched the lives of countless people throughout his lifetime.

One of Bob's greatest passions in life was the great outdoors. He found joy in the simplicity of nature, spending countless hours hunting, fishing, and connecting with others.

Known far and wide for his devout faith and generous spirit, Bob had a heart that overflowed with kindness and a willingness to help anyone in need. His acts of goodwill and selflessness knew no bounds, and he consistently demonstrated Christ's love.

Bob is preceded in death by his father, Wesley, his mother, Arlys, his brother, Ron, and his youngest son, Ryan. His memory will live on in the hearts of many, especially his family: His wife, Judy, his children, Rod, Janelle, and Chad, his 12 grandchildren, along with his brother, Dennis and sister, Connie.

Bob will be forever remembered and cherished, and we take solace in knowing that he is now in the presence of Jesus, reunited with many of his closest family and friends.

Public visitation will be held at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel on Thursday, October 5 from 4-7pm. The memorial service will be held on October 6 at 11am at Cornerstone Church followed by a reception at the Family Worship Center at 1120 4th St NE, Watertown following the burial.
