Aimee was born to Arthur and Thelma Reed in Creston, Iowa on September 12, 1954. She graduated from Creston High School on May 16, 1972. She attended Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Aimee enjoyed singing and playing her guitar in clubs during her leisure time. She married Michael Lynne Sailors on December 27, 1992. Mike and Aimee welcomed a son, Antony Sailors, who was born on June 10, 1993.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur LeRoy Reed and Thelma Maude Cox Reed of Creston, Iowa, brother Arthur Mark Reed of Omaha, Nebraska, and sister Annette Elaine Reed Riepe of Des Moines, Iowa.

Aimee is survived by her husband, Michael Lynn Sailors of Omaha, Nebraska, son Antony Sailors of Omaha, Nebraska, sisters Alaire Elizabeth Reed Dippel (Stephen) of Bowie, Maryland, and Anita Carol Reed Belsky (Thomas) of Omaha, Nebraska , and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be a Gathering of Friends and Family, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Braman Mortuary, 1702 N. 72nd Street Chapel, Omaha, Nebraska 68114.

Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, Omaha, Nebraska
