CARLISLE- Jewell Mitchell Berry, 92, widow of Malcolm Berry, died Mon, Dec. 18, 2006 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 24, 1914 in Nicholas Co. to the late Cecil A. and Jessie Parrish Mitchell and was a member of Carlisle United Methodist Church, Survivors include 2 sons, William C. and Wayne Berry, Carlisle, a daughter, Donna Sue (Hayluard) Baker, Winchester, a sister, Mildred Brumagen, seven grandchildren, Mike, Becky, Malcolm and Wesley Berry, Mike Baker, Cindy Graves, and Jennifer Turley and 7 great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 pm Wed at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. James Doughton and Rev. Ernie Carmicle. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Mike, Wesley, and Malcolm Berry, Doug Gates, Wayne Gaunce, Johnny Jones and Phil Mitchell.
