Suzanne (Gaskill) Dalin of Des Plaines for 55 years. Visitation and funeral service at First United Methodist Church, 668 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines. Private burial.

Mrs. Dalin died on Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at home. Suzanne was a member of the United Methodist Women's Club and a charter member of the Maine West Mother's Bridge Club. She earned her bachelor's degree in business from Iowa Wesleyan University, where she was in the Pi Beta Phi sorority.

She was the wife of the late Roger Carleton Dalin, whom she married at the Euclid Avenue Methodist Church in Oak Park; mother of Dawn Dalin (Philip) Heil and John Carleton Dalin; sister of the late John E. Gaskill and the late Nancy Dawn Gaskill; and grandmother of Jennifer Heil Foley and Kristen Elaine Heil.

Memorials to Rainbow Hospice, First United Methodist Church of Des Plaines, or Light of Christ Church of Algonquin.

Funeral care was provided by G.L. Hills Funeral Home, Des Plaines.
