Oma Florence Greenhill, 85, of Bonneau, SC, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 3:00 pm. Interment to follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to the service.

Oma was born March 28, 1938 in Washington, GA, daughter of the late Amos Bolden Powell and the late Eva Louise Turpin Powell. She was a Supervisor for Manhattan Shirt Factory for 17 years and after it changed to Levi Strauss 12 years. She was a pattern maker for five years at Charleston Naval Shipyard and worked for C.R. Bard for five years. She enjoyed horseback riding and loved her Life Baptist Church in St. Stephen, SC.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Renee Greenhill of Bonneau, SC; sister, Lucille Wilkerson of Athens, GA; brother, Jack Powell (Brenda) of Lakeland, FL; two grandchildren, Katelyn Greenhill and Ronald Saunders (Kim); and two great-grandchildren, Bryson Rourk and Callie McPherson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Calvin Greenhill, Sr., son, Edward "Punkin" Calvin Greenhill, Jr.; and two sisters, Betty Truitt and Jean Echols.
