Chico Enterprise-Record, Tuesday, August 6, 1963: "Lena L. Haskin. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Christian Service Society Chapel for Mrs. Lena L. Haskin, 82, who died in an Oroville hospital. Mrs. Haskins [sic; Haskin, Ed.] of 1524 Bird St., Oroville, had been a resident of that community since 1921. She was born in June 12, 1881 in Brigham Canyon, Utah. Survivors includes sons, Fred of Hayward; John of Sacramento; and George and Russel of Modesto; a daughter, Margaret Alley of Willits; a brother, Lisdor Gauchat of Salt Lake City; 16 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Conducting the rites at the 1508 Locust St. chapel will be Rev. Nathan McFarland of the Apostolic Temple. Burial will follow in the Christian Service Society Cemetery."
