Bob was born Oct. 7, 1936 in Eastland County to Raymond Clyde Brothers and Sarah Hazel (Ivey) Brothers Dodgion. He was a 1955 graduate of Newman High School in Sweetwater and married Edyth Perryman in 1968.

Robert (Bob) was a USMC veteran who loved to hunt, fish and baseball. He loved to get together on Tuesdays and Thursday to have coffee with his buddies. Robert worked for the railroad as a dispatcher for 21 years and was a lifelong member of the NRA.
