Reverend Larry A. Bradberry, 82, of Macedonia, passed away September 23, 2023, after a brief illness.

Larry was born February 27, 1941, in Red Oak, Georgia, the son of Lonnie and Helen Bradberry.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Paulette Padgett Bradberry; a son, Matthew A. Bradberry and his wife, Wendy; a daughter, Phoebe J. Bradberry all of Macedonia; two sisters, Sue Wenger of Union City, GA. and Catherine Gebhardt and her husband, James, of Stockbridge, GA.; three grandchildren, Priscilla Brinson and her husband, William, of Moncks Corner, Victoria Bradberry of North Charleston and M. Easton Bradberry of Macedonia; a great grandson, Weston Brinson, and one great grandson on the way, William Bryce Brinson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his loving family, Mr. Bradberry is also survived by the Macedonia Christian Church family where he has served as minister for 56 years.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ann Fuller of Toronto, Canada.

Mr. Bradberry was a graduate of Atlanta Christian College, currently named Point University. He was a former minister of Whitesburg Christian Church in Whitesburg, GA. He moved with Paulette to Macedonia in 1966 where he became the minister of Macedonia Christian Church and served there until his death. In addition to being the minister, he also served as the camp director of Camp Edisto for 52 years.

Mr. Bradberry was very active in his beloved community, serving as the voice of the Macedonia High School Foxes for 15 years, then keeping the stats for the Berkeley High School Stags for the past 20 years.

Mr. Bradberry has left a legacy of a loving Christ-centered family who will miss him greatly but rejoice with the angels knowing we will see him again in Glory.

Reverend Bradberry's funeral service will be held at Macedonia Christian Church, Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Macedonia Christian Church Family Life Center on Tuesday evening, September 26, 2023 from 4 to 7 o'clock.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Macedonia Christian Church to be divided among the church building fund and Camp Edisto. Contributions can be sent to Macedonia Christian Church 1165 Betsy Hole Road, Bonneau, SC 29431.

Luke 10:2 "Jesus said to them the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field."

Mr. Bradberry's ministry was to preach, teach, pray, baptize, marry, bury and love on generations of families in his community and beyond. Although his presence will be missed, the impact he made will live on through his family, his congregation and the people he served. Much love and appreciation for a loyal "worker" from a grateful "harvest."
