Thomas P. McCammon, 81, of Linton passed away Monday, Oct. 30, 2006 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born June 6, 1925, he was the son John Thomas and Ethel Jane McCammon.

On June 15, 1946 he married Macel K. Foster.

He worked as a paint inspector at the Ford Motor Company in Chicago, Ill. for 31 years before retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Sullivan Congregation of Jehovah's Witness.

Survivors include: his wife; Macel K. (Foster) McCammon, five daughters; Cheri (Charles) DeFur of Gary, Cindy Olson of Gary, Gaye (Daniel) Rodriquez, of Linton, Melanie (Michael) Goodman of Linton, and Michele (David Jr.) Pearson of Linton; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Cathy McCammon; two brothers, Loren and George McCammon and two sisters, Frances Crew and Martha Arnold.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Robert Davis officiating. Cremation is scheduled to follow the service.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
