Dave A. Golden, 84, of Kingsport, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness.
He was born February 9, 1939, in Surgoinsville, TN to the late G.A. Golden, Sr. and Rosa Goodman Golden.
Dave was an independent truck driver for fifty-three years.
He recently received Jesus Christ as his Savior and is now at peace.
In addition to his parents, Dane was preceded in death by five siblings.
Those left to cherish Dane's memory are his wife, Jenny Kiser Golden; stepsons, Gregory Adkins and wife, Regina, Rev. Gary Adkins and wife, Revonda; granddaughter, Emily Adkins; grandson, Devin Adkins and wife, Abigail; great-grandchildren, Gideon, Tobias, and Addyson.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 12:00-1:00 pm at Vicar's Chapel Baptist Church, 12421 Stanley Valley Road, Gate City, VA 24251.
The Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm with Aaron Tate and Mark Jackson officiating.
Music will be provided by Devin and Abigail Adkins.
