William H. "Bill" Mundhenk, age 84, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Monday September 18, 2023. He was born in Brookville, Ohio, on November 10, 1937, son of the late Pheoba (Robert) and Jack Mundhenk. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran serving as a pilot during the Vietnam War. Afterwards, he was a commercial pilot for more than 40 years ~ during his career he flew for Trans World Airlines, American Airlines and United Parcel Service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Mundhenk. Bill is survived by his wife, Phyllis J. (Schaeffer) Mundhenk; 2 daughters, Melissa (Henry) Mundhenk-Posadas, Anne (Bill) Tracey; his daughter-in-law, Deborah Miller; his step-daughter, Terri (Sam Lyninger) Thompson, his step-son, Todd Miller; 6 grandchildren; his siblings, Charles (Jeanne) Mundhenk, Mary Ann (Richard) Turnbull; sister-in-law, Kathie Mundhenk; numerous nieces and nephews.
