Kathy Lea Knoblett McCollister
Ms. McCollister, 59, daughter of the late Mrs. Ruth Salesberry Knoblett and the late Chief Warrant Officer 3, Thomas E. Knoblett Jr., passed on to be with our Lord Wednesday, July 22, 2009.
Kathy is survived by her two younger brothers, Thomas and Kenneth Knoblett, both residing in central Texas. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Lacee, as well as many loving family and friends.
Kathy served the Tampa community as a licensed practical nurse for over 40 years. She was currently employed at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. She enjoyed competing in ballroom dancing and served on the board of the Southern Star chapter of USA Dance.
A viewing will take place 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Ave. A private burial will take place in Palestine, Il, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved parents.

Kathy is survived by her two bothers; Tom Knoblett and Kenneth Knoblett, both residing in central Texas. Kathy had worked as a nurse for over 35 years, in Tampa, FL. A memorial service will be held for Kathy at Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine, IL at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 15, 2009.
