Capt. Harold E. Coachman, Ret. Dec. 24, 1940~May 8, 2009 Formerly of Pittsburg Harold was born in Talahini, OK to Jay Gould- Barbara Lee Coachman who proceded him in death. He was known to many as Chief and will be remembered for his generosity, kindness and for his love for his tribe, culture and traditions. He leaves daughters Barbara Ruth Easler of S. Carolina and Shirley Lynn Bunton of Mo. Sons Larry Todd and Troy Coachman of WA, beloved sister and best friend Sandra Kendall of OK, Karen Mattson of OK, brother Jim Coachman of Pittsburg, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Harold attended area schools and graduated from Pittsburg Sr. High in 1958. Worked at Crown Zellerbach in Antioch and spent 36 years in the Merchant Marines. Private services were held in Claremore, OK.
