Mrs. Maxine Wilson Perry, age 98, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Monday, September 18, 2023 at her residence.
She was born September 16, 1925 in Jamestown, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Perry, her parents, Zelmer and Altha Crouch Wilson, son Larry Gray,, brother , Cordell and Helen Wilson, sister, Opal Nell and Will Bottoms.
She is survived by her daughters , Stella Reece, Mary and Robert Carroll of Chatsworth, GA, Patricia Perry of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, many extended generations.
Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Maxine Wilson Perry will be held Friday evening, September 22, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 5:00 p.m. Friday until the service hour.
She will be laid to rest with her family at the Wolf River Cemetery, in Fentress, Tennessee, on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Gene Bottoms, Caleb Sheriff, Nicky Wallace, Jeremy Mooney, Heath Smith and David Sheriff honored to serve as pallbearers.
