Kevin Don Clift, beloved dad, brother, and grandfather, air guitar master, and passionate foodie passed away from this life on Sunday, September 17, 2023. He was 59 years old. Kevin was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on August 4, 1964, and adopted by Lory & Charleene Clift.

Kevin loved music and was especially passionate about Rock and Hair Metal. He took Brianna to her first concert, Rob Zombie, at 10 years-old, took Tanner to see KISS and Aerosmith at a similarly young age, and took Jennifer to see Wasp at age 12. Kevin proudly introduced his children to the joy and electrifying energy of live music. Kevin was a passionate, lifelong Iron Maiden fan, never once turning down an opportunity to see them in concert. At one point, Kevin was in the hospital waiting for an organ transplant and decided to check himself out so he could attend an Iron Maiden show in Tulsa with Tanner, Brianna, and David Arndt.

Simply put, Kevin was a man who lived life to the fullest and brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He was a huge OU Sooners fan who preferred listening to the games on the radio in the garage because it was five seconds faster than the TV broadcast. After a big play, he would come running through the house so he could watch it all unfold on the TV. You could count on Kevin to be at the Oklahoma State Fair every single day it was open, cheese dog in hand. A true foodie, he loved a good steak, fried chicken, and crab legs (especially all you can eat).

Professionally, Kevin took pride in his work as an aircraft machinist. During the Iraq War, he was the only person in the world who made the "boom tube" and he knew how to use every machine in the shop, rarely scrapping a part. Kevin proudly worked for ProFab (Omada) for almost 28 years.

Kevin's new spiritual journey began on August 12, 2023, just after his daughter's wedding. He was saved and thrilled to embark on this new path. Kevin's love for his family and friends was vast, and he cherished the memories they shared. His sister, Carla, was his biggest cheerleader and they shared an extremely special bond. She visited him the day before he died. During their time together, they simply sat, holding hands, and watching football. Her impact on his life was immeasurable. Kevin's lifelong best friend and concert buddy, Jerry Crittenden, also had a special place in his heart. Jerry had backstage passes and a private meet and greet waiting for him on the night he passed away, a testament to their deep bond. Although Kevin left this world too soon, his impact on those around him was nothing but positive, and he will always be remembered and loved.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Charleene Clift, his dad, Lory Clift, his wife, Cheryl Clift, a son, Wesley Rogers II, and a nephew, Brandon Johnson.

Kevin is survived by three children, son Tanner Clift and his wife Kelli, and daughters Brianna Clift, and Jennifer Mullaney and her husband Nicholas; his grandchildren, Ella Clift, Emmi Clift, Jackie King, Roxanne Fletcher, Isaiah Mullaney, Wesley Rogers III, Victoria Rogers, Zachary Williams, and Emilee Williams; his sister, Carla Johnson and brother-in-law Jeff, his niece, Christi, his best friend, Jerry, and many more loving family and loyal friends.
