She was born on November 26, 1942 in Antigo, a daughter of Eugene and Tilda (Fultz) Sales. She married Hugh Shannon on December 30, 1961 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. They were married for 44 years. He preceded her in death on October 27, 2005.
She was a graduate of White Lake High School with the class of 1961.
For 35 years, Jean was an administrative assistant at Kraft, retiring from Sartori.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and sharing those recipes with her family.
Survivors include three children, eleven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Shannon, and a daughter-in-law, Beth Shannon.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 30 at 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Reverend Marvin Kindle Officiating. Burial will take place at Langlade Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
