Services for Ann Spears will be held Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Ryan Miley officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Interment will be Linwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Spears, 84, of Philadelphia, MS, died Saturday, September 16, 2023.
Ann was a native and a longtime resident of the Linwood community of Neshoba County. She was a graduate of Linwood High School, Class of 1958. She worked and retired from Meridian Manufacturing as a Quality Control Supervisor in 1995. Ann enjoyed traveling, reading, shopping, sewing and working in the garden with her flowers. She loved spending time with her family, children and grandchildren. Ann was a member of Linwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include her Husband of 65 years, Jackie Spears of Union; Daughter; Brandy Michelle Spears of Union; Grandchildren; Ann Nicole Parish, Christopher Warren Parrish, Hannah Bleu Upchurch, Michael Gage Upchurch. Great-Grand Children; Cody Warren Parrish, Covey Indigo Hammond. Sister; Martha Miley of Jackson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Dianne Parish, and her sister Ruby Blaine.
Pallbearers are Christopher Parrish, Cody Parrish, Gage Upchurch, Will Hammond, Remington Rickles and Alan Spears.
