Donna grew up in Mayport, Florida and was a graduate of Fletcher High School, Class of 1957. She lived in many states but always considered Florida home. She served in the United States Air Force as a flight traffic specialist. Over the years Donna enjoyed many different occupations. She was a home health aide, professional clown, bank teller, rehabilitation intake specialist, and a car saleswoman. Her favorite and most fulfilling job by far was helping and caring for others which she did mostly in Connecticut, Ponte Vedra and the Jacksonville Beach area. She was a loving and intuitive woman who had a knack for turning lemons into lemonade.
Donna loved ballroom dancing, crafts, puzzles, and gardening. She was a Friend of Bill Wilson. In the later years of her life she spent lots of time watching and feeding birds. She loved and nurtured many other animals over the years.
Donna was known for being a practical joker, sometimes scaring herself with rubber roaches in her purse. She had a quick wit and loved "spicy" jokes.
