Margaret E. Baker Koehler (nee Rivera) of Maple Shade passed away on Monday September 11, 2023 peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was 95 years old. Born on June 1, 1928 in Philadelphia to the late Santiago and Gertrude Rivera. Margaret was a very active member of Immanuel Baptist Church and church custodian there for 20 years. She was the co-leader of the Pioneer Girls and active with Bible study. Margaret enjoyed traveling and trips to Wildwood and loved her collectibles and the Sunday Breakfast Association. She took pleasure in donating to Samaritan Purse and volunteering at America's Keswick in Whiting.
Beloved wife of 20 years to Wallace T. Koehler, Jr., wife of the late Frank Baker, loving mother of Frank (Marie) Baker and Samuel (Sylvia) Higgins, cherished grandmother of Patrick, Frank and Karen, dear great grandmother of Leonah Kalesse and Gabriel, sister of Sam Rivera, sister-in-law of Robert (Cheryl) Koehler and Mildred (Ray) Kanoun, Margaret is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Margaret's viewing and funeral services were held on September 16th at Immanuel Baptist Church, 6 South Poplar Ave., Maple Shade. Interment was in Lakeview Memorial Park.
