TERRYVILLE
Raymond W. Smoe Siemiatkoski, Jr, 91, of Terryville, husband of Hildegarde (Jahn) Siemiatkoski, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023. He was born October 3, 1931, in Bristol, son of the late Raymond Sr. and Ethel Siemiatkoski.
Prior to his retirement, Ray was employed by Plume and Atwood Manufacturing Co. As a young man he also worked at the Terryville Bakery, a family business.
He was a longtime member and officer of the Bristol Polish American Club. Ray and Hildie enjoyed many summers at their cottage in Old Lyme.
Besides his wife, Ray is survived by his son Raymond W. Siemiatkoski, III and his
partner Ada of Lexington, MA; his daughter Sheree Swanson and her husband Robert of Danville, CA; his brother Robert Siemiatkoski of Plainville; his sister
Carol Kozikowski of Terryville; and several nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his parents; and his siblings, Eugene (Butch) and Richard Siemiatkoski and Joanne Camosse.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM on Thursday September 21, 2023, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 134 Main St, Terryville. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery,
Terryville. Family and friends may call at Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St,
Terryville from 9:30 AM until leaving for church. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Plymouths non-profit daycare center,
The Learning Center.
