Dad was quite the individual. Drove the big rigs - he hauled logs, heavy equipment, sand and gravel. He was also a logger in Northern California and Oregon. Got hurt in 1974 cutting timber in Oregon then went to Tyonek, Alaska and drove off road log trucks. Moved his family to Montana in 1978. He loved the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiles, boats. He built custom muzzleloaders until his eyesight started to go. He was also a buckskinner, really enjoyed that era of history. Many rendezvous were attended. He worked for the US Marshall's Service in his later years and retired out of Spokane Washington. Restored old tractors, trucks, canoe's, camp trailers. Loved working with his hands. Moved to Idaho in the early 1980's, where he resided on Klost Lane near Athol until his passing. And he was one hell of a story teller. Married Norma Jean Hunter in 1960 and they had 4 kids, Dan, Doug, Dennis and Shelli. He will be greatly missed
