Chas. Harbord, 69, former resident of Carnegie and brother of M.L. Harbord and Mrs. Geo. Summers, died at the home of his son, Marion L. Harbord in Sapulpa Wednesday afternoon. In the state on a visit from his home in San Fernando, Calif., Harbord had been seriously ill for several days following a severe stroke. Mr. and Mrs. Summers returned Saturday night from Sapulpa where they had visited Mr. Harbord.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete late Wednesday but burial will be made at Bristow.
Harbord was one of the early settlers and is believed to have first lived here in 1902. Survivors include his wife who came from California after he was stricken, a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Abraham, Bristow; three sons, Marion L., Raymond in California and Wayne, who is traveling in the southern states, and his brother and sister of this place.
