Donald Lewis "Animal" Carnicle, 62, Fife, Wash., died April 4, 2009. Cremation rites were accorded.
He was born Sept. 27, 1946, in Moline, to Herman and Darlene Dorcey Carnicle. He graduated from Moline High School in 1965, where he was in football, track and wrestling.
He was a retired roofer and member of Roofer Union No. 53, Washington. He enjoyed football, softball and played for the Quad City Mohawks semi-pro football team.
Surviving are daughters, Christin (Patrick) Compton, Mt. Home, Idaho; son, Timothy (Brenda) Carnicle, Puyallup, Wash; five grandchildren; brothers, Robert Carnicle, East Moline, and James Carnicle, Moline. He was preceded in death by his parents.
