She was born on March 22, 1960 in Peoria to Gary and Jackie (Rakestraw) Doubet. She married David Koehlhoeffer in Pittsburgh PA on July 8, 2006. He survives.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Stacey; and sister, Cindy Brandon.
She is survived by two daughters, Sarah (Chad) Swibold of North Pekin and Synthia Bolding of East Peoria, IL; one son, Stephen Gosch of Tallahassee, FL.; five grandchildren, Xavier Gosch, Kayonna (James) Stanley, Jexie Bolding, Lucas Gosch, and Izlen Gosch; one great grandchild, Grayson Stanley; two sisters, Terri Doubet of Creve Coeur and Linda (Dave) Ebersole of East Peoria; two brothers, Scott Doubet of Creve Coeur and Tim (Rhonda) Doubet of Brimfield; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Sherry worked as a receptionist for Dr. Kouri.
She was the glue that held her family together. Sherry loved camping, the ocean and cooking with her grandkids. Grams taught them every chance they let her and asked. She never knew a stranger; to know her was to love her.
Cremation will be accorded.
