Lillian Aday, 94, of Hector, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
The daughter of Thomas and Fatima Maynard Firestone, she was born Nov. 19, 1912 in Pope County. She was a member of the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was an active member for many years. Lillian was a homemaker and loved her family. She also enjoyed gardening and making quilts.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eukla Earl Aday and was also preceded in death by her parents; step-father W. R. McCuin; seven brothers and sisters; one half-sister; two daughters, Ruth Lask and Onita Emerson; two grandsons; and three sons-in-law.
Survivors include four daughters, Delilah Milarn of Hector, Joyce Bell of Hector, Phyllis Holt of Bismarck, and Patricia Aday of Hector, one son Lyle Aday of Hector, Twenty-five grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild ; and a sister Erma Bolin of Crossett.
Funeral services were Saturday at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Aaron Holt officiating. Burial was at Zion Hill Cemetery at Zion Hill Community by Humphrey Funeral Service.
