Mrs. Patsy Collier Bynum, age 81, of South Fulton, TN, passed away September 9, 2023 at her
residence.

Mrs. Bynum was born in Clinton, KY. on March 6, 1942 to the late Chester Rufus Yates and Bessie
Mai (Morrow) Yates.

She is survived by her children Jennifer Akers (Mike), of South Fulton, TN., Susan Collier (James) of Fulton, KY., Steve Collier (Bonnie) of Fulton, KY., and Keith Collier of Fulton, KY. A sister Norma Yates Brubaker (James) of Wingo. KY., Grandchildren: Greg Swift, Fulton Ky., Mark Collier, Fulton, KY., Samantha Smith (Chris), Union City, TN., Lane Akers (Stella) of Union City, TN., three step-daughters and seven step-sons and seven great-granddaughters.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband David Ray Collier, and her second husband Charles "Bobby" Bynum, and one brother Jimmy Eugene Yates and a sister Nina Catherine Yates Hastings and three grandchildren: Amanda Luck, Michael Swift and Michael Scott Collier.

Mrs. Bynum lived all her life in this area and was of Baptist faith. She worked as a seamstress for the H.I.S company in South Fulton, TN., and a life time member of the VFW in Union City, TN., Post 4862.

Funeral services will be held at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, Fulton, KY., on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. With visitation beginning at 11AM services starting at 2PM.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the VFW of Union City, TN, Post 4862,
3915 N Clover Street. Union City, TN 38261, also South Fulton Baptist Church, 1500 Broadway
Street, South Fulton, TN. 38257.
