Kenneth Delano Almon, age 90, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Deaconess Gateway, Newburgh, IN. Mr. Almon was born on June 6, 1933 in Earlington, KY to the late Elgie Almon and Dixie Mae Kirkwood Almon. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Murray State University and taught in the public-school system for a number of years and he operated his own business. Additionally, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force for two years. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Earlington, KY.
He leaves a beloved wife, Nina Ruth Almon of Dawson Springs, KY; three daughters, Barbara Cavitt (Dwayne) of Benton, KY; Sarah Hibbs (John) and Cynthia Major both of Dawson Springs, KY.; one son, Benjamin Almon (Missy) of White Plains, KY; nine grandchildren, two step grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Greg Almon and two brothers, Don Almon and Tom Almon.
