Mabel McLucas was the second of 7 children born to James McLucas and Annie Bell Davis McLucas.

She married George Phillips Porter sometime between 1900 and 1910, probably around 1905.

They had 3 children:
1. Ernest Charles Porter (1905-1966) (148268662). He went by "Uncle Jakey" to some of his family members. He first married Lou Delle Hunt in 1926 and had one daughter, Mary Sue Porter (01 Jun 1927 - 15 Nov 1996). I am currently unsure where she is buried. She never married or had children. He second married Myrtice Mae Daughtry.
2. Annie Porter (1906-1991) (25948454). She first married Dalton Talmadge Brown in 1926 and had 3 children. [1. Margaret Anne Brown Chambers (28 Feb 1927 - 26 Jan 2012 unsure of burial location), 2. George Talmadge Brown, 3. Dorothea Brown Whitaker] She second married Norman E. English.
3. Maybelle "May" Fluornoy Porter (1912-1980) (75521395). She first married Wilde Elmer Jenkins 03 May 1929 in Bibb County, Georgia. They divorced sometime during the early 1940s. They had 2 daughters. (The younger is still living and the first was Martha Jean Jenkins Burns.) She second married Paul Brannen in 1947.
