Richard E. Anderson,89, passed peacefully on April 24, 2022, at home surrounded by family. He was born January 11, 1933, in Spokane, WA, the son of John and Anna (Westrand) Anderson.
Richard graduated from Mead High School. Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Army. Richard met the love of his life Billye Bourland through his sister Edie. Richard and Billye married February 13, 1963, and settled in Spokane, WA. They celebrated 58 years of marriage prior to Billye's passing. Richard worked many years for Kaiser Aluminum as an electrician. Richard was a loyal member of Colbert Chapel where he loved to serve and sing.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beautiful bride Billye, daughter Keri Anderson, sisters Betty, Ruth, Eva, Ella, Faith, Edith and brothers Chuck and John. Surviving is his sister Mary Williams of Spokane, WA, children, Mark (Lisa) Anderson of Colbert, WA, Eric (Karen) Anderson of Tucson, AZ and Jill (Deanne) of Tacoma, WA, five grandchildren Jeremy (Ashley) Anderson, Cole (Joslynn) Anderson, Wyatt (Rachael) Anderson, Alister Anderson, and Angus Anderson, three great-grandchildren, Kai, Kora and Jett, many nieces and nephews.
