Mr's O'Shea Mayor's Aunt Dies at 58
Mary G. (Goff) O'Shea, 58, of 95 New Park Street, aunt Mayor Thomas P. Costin, Jr., died in a Nahant nursing home today after a long illness.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie (Clifford) Goff.
She was the widow of the late William F. O'Shea. She had worked as a clerk in the purchasing department in the mayor's office for some years, until illness forced her retirement.
She leaves a son, William F. O'Shea, Jr.; a brother, Clifford Goff; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth O'Shea and Mrs. Marguerite Costin, wife of Deputy Police Chief Thomas P. Costin, Sr.
The funeral will be held from the T.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 679 Western Avenue, at 8 a.m.
