Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Brian's House, age 93. Irene was born May 3, 1914 in Bay County to the late Adam and
Anastasia (Brzezinski) Buczkowski. She married Roman J. Schultz on June 5, 1933 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and he predeceased her on April 13, 1996 after 63 years of marriage. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, the Rosary/Altar Society Group #34, Senior Citizens, Felician Sisters Auxiliary, and the UAW Local #362. Irene was a kind and caring person to all and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed birthday parties, shopping, crossword puzzles, watching daily Mass on TV and was a big Detroit Tigers fan.
Surviving are four children: Marion (Rita) Schultz, Charlotte Buzalski, Brian (Cheryl) Schultz, all of Bay City, and Sharon (Gary) Bark, of Frankenmuth, nine grandchildren: Michael (Vicky) Schultz, Donald (Ann) Schultz, Thomas (Carol) Schultz, Wayne Schultz, Roy (Anna) Buzalski, Jodie (Jeremy) Eden, Craig (Pam) Bark, Jay (Wendy) Schultz, Allison Schultz, and seven great grandchildren: Nathan and Zachary Schultz, Joseph (Vicky) Bunker, Brianna and Andrew Eden, and Erica and Lauren Bark.
