Willie D. "Nook" Bradley, 62, of Amarillo died Monday, April 7, 2008.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Bethel Baptist Church in Abernathy with the Rev. W. R. Bolton, pastor, and the Rev. Mullins officiating. Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy. Memorial celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Coulter Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St., in Amarillo, with Bob Thomas, chaplain of Odyssey Hospice, officiating.

Mr. Bradley was born Sept. 2, 1945, to L.K. and Artavie Bradley in Dallas. He moved to Amarillo in 1982 from New Mexico.

Survivors include his life companion, Kay Murphy of Amarillo; his mother, Artavie Bradley of Abernathy; five children, Willie Bradley Jr. of Arlington and Michelle Cobbs, Sandra Bradley, Ursula Bradley and Bill Bradley, all of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; three brothers, L.J. Bradley, L.K. Bradley Jr. and Donnie Bradley, all of Lubbock; and five sisters, Ruby Buckley, Earlean Shepherd, Mable Herby, Dessa Smith and Sharron Hudson, all of Lubbock.
